Rule 31
Duration and Renewal of Permit

(1) The period of the permit will be valid until the end of each year.
(2) After payment of the deadline as per sub-rule (1), the permit can be renewed by paying one thousand rupees as renewal fee within the end of Ashwin of each year.
(3) If the permit cannot be renewed within the period specified in sub-rule (2), the permit can be renewed within three months of the expiry of the said period by paying double the fee.
(4) If the permit is not renewed within the period as per sub-rule (3), such permit shall automatically be cancelled.
